London, Ont. - The McMaster men's soccer team fell to the Western Mustangs 2-1 on the road on Sunday afternoon.
McMaster forward Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.) scored just five minutes into the match to give the Marauders an early lead.
It wouldn't be until the 35th minute that Western's Dylan Marcos would respond with a goal of his own. The game winner was scored in the second half in the 67th minute by Western's Rudy James.
The Marauders now have a record of 6-2-2 and sit in second place in the OUA West Division. McMaster plays host to the York Lions on Friday at Ron Joyce Stadium.
