Windsor, Ont. - The McMaster men's soccer team defeated the Windsor Lancers on the road Friday night. In the 4-0 win, Angelo Cavalluzzo (Hamilton, Ont.) earned the shut out.
Gersi Xhuti (Etobicoke, Ont.) opened up the scoring early in the first half with a goal just five minutes into the match. In the second half, three more would be scored by Marauders including Mark Reilly (Hamilton, Ont.) at the 67th minute, Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.) at the 73rd minute and Anthony Costa (Stoney Creek, Ont.) at the 83rd minute.
McMaster now has a six game unbeaten streak and has only allowed four goals to be scored against them over the nine games they've played this season. On top of that, Reilly moves to tied with second in the league with most goals scored this season with seven.
The Marauders take on the Western Mustangs on Sunday in their second match up of the season.
