In his first race as a Marauder, after transferring to McMaster from McGill a year ago, Raez Villanueva led his team to the top spot among non-Division I teams at the University of Buffalo Stampede meet on Friday, September 15.

His time of 25:08.9 in the men’s eight kilometre race was good for first among non-Division I athletes, and fourth overall when including NCAA competitors. With his help, the Marauders easily out-paced their competitors, with a score of 16 that gave McMaster a 41-point margin of victory.
