McMaster rushers were the stars of the show on Saturday, as the Marauders racked up 299 yards of offence on the ground in their 42-31 semifinal victory over the Ottawa Gee-Gees, and Pezzetta was at the head of that charge. The second-year running back averaged 8.4 yards per carry and totalled 143 yards in the win, crossing the goal line for one of McMaster's three rushing touchdowns on the afternoon. On a day jam-packed with big plays, Pezzetta had one of his own with a 23-yard run in the opening quarter.
