McMaster’s women were the driving force behind the team’s historic OUA silver medal at home this past weekend, and Chou was the most dependable part of that unit.

The rookie Marauder was a stunning 10-1 over the course of the three-day event, sweeping five matches each in the women’s singles and doubles events. She contributed two clutch wins to Mac’s razor-close 6-4 decision over the Waterloo Warriors at the semifinal stage, defeating Ailynna Chen 21-8, 21-8 in the singles before teaming with Caitlin Sherry to down the duo of Gloria Chan and Judy Tan in the doubles event.

For her efforts, Chou was named as a tournament All-Star.
