The second-year prop had an outstanding game in all phases on Saturday, starring as the Marauders won their first OUA title 19-10 over the Guelph Gryphons. McMaster put up the defensive barricades for much of the game, and Irowa was a leading figure as the Marauders repeatedly blunted the potent Gryphon offence. The former Russell Division Rookie of the Year provided the crucial moment of offensive inspiration as well, breaking loose in the final minutes to spring the try that sealed the result for McMaster.
