A first-year guard out of Oakville Loyola high school, Rohan Boney helped the Marauders to two important OUA west conference wins to start the new year.

In a 79-73 road win at Brock, Boney came off the Marauder bench and scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and had two steals to help McMaster secure the victory. Boney also had to spend time playing at the point position due to an injury that took starter Adam Presutti out of the line-up.

The rookie Marauder had another strong effort for the Maroon in a 93-84 home win versus Laurier. Boney again scored 12 points, while grabbing eight rebounds and had three assists and one steal as McMaster came back in the fourth quarter to defeat the Golden Hawks.
