Leon Alexander saved his best performance of his rookie season in Maroon and Grey for the most crucial moment. The forward, who transferred to McMaster this season, was named as the Player of the Game as the Marauders staged a dramatic comeback to beat the Windsor Lancers 93-89 in the OUA bronze medal game and earn a trip to the CIS Final 8. Alexander had a career-high 21 points in the win, but was equally valuable on the defensive end, and contributed seven rebounds and a team-high five steals.
