Kaden Zunti (Burlington, Ont.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings over the weekend.
Abby Delamere - (Toronto, Ont.)
Abby Delemere saved her best moment for Senior Night, delivering a standout performance in McMaster's weekend sweep of Trent. The outside hitter was highly efficient across both matches, totaling 10 kills on 14 attempts with just one error for an outstanding .643 hitting percentage. She opened the weekend with six kills at a .556 clip on Friday before elevating her play Saturday.
On Senior Night, Delemere hit a remarkable .800 with four kills on five swings, adding three digs and four block assists to make her presence felt on both sides of the net. She finished with seven points in each match, showcasing the consistency and composure that have defined her career. It was a fitting way to celebrate her contributions in front of the home crowd.
Kaden Zunti - (Burlington, Ont.)
Outside hitter
Kaden Zunti turned in a dominant weekend performance as McMaster secured two wins over Trent on Feb. 13 and 14. In Friday's straight-sets victory, Zunti was remarkably efficient, tallying nine kills on 14 swings without committing an error for an outstanding .643 hitting percentage. He chipped in defensively as well, adding three digs and a block to finish with 11 points.
Zunti followed that up with a bigger volume performance Saturday in a four-set win, pounding down 16 kills while contributing two service aces and 11 digs.
Across the two matches, he totaled 25 kills, 14 digs, three aces, and 30 points, showcasing his ability to score efficiently while impacting the match in all facets from the outside.
