Hamilton, Ont. - The McMaster Marauders ring in the New Year at the Dundas Valley Curling Club! The Marauders hosted 5 teams last weekend with the men's team making it to the finals. 

Men's Curling
January 3-4 - McMaster Invitational Dundas, Ont. | Results

January 4 - L: 4-5 vs Toronto (Championship)

The McMaster Marauders men delivered a strong weekend at the McMaster Invitational, finishing first in the standings at 3–0 and advancing to the championship draw. McMaster opened with decisive round-robin wins over Brock (6–2) and York (7–3), then edged Toronto 5–3 in a tight matchup that showcased consistent shot-making and game control. The Marauders posted one of the best differentials in the field (+20) and were among the leaders in steals per game (2.8) while allowing just 2.8 points per game. In Sunday's championship, McMaster battled Toronto Varsity Blues in a back-and-forth final, ultimately falling 5–4.

The McMaster Marauders women competed in a deep field and finished third in Pool A at 1-2-2 before contesting the B Final. McMaster opened the weekend with competitive games against top opposition, including a tight draw against the Toronto Varsity Blues. The Marauders showed resilience throughout pool play, averaging 4.8 points allowed per game while generating key steals in pressure situations. On Sunday afternoon, McMaster faced Toronto again in the B Final, skating to a 1–1 draw after a disciplined defensive battle that featured patient end management and strong sweeping.
