HAMILTON, Ont. —  Women's Volleyball, Olivia Julien (Toronto, Ont.), and Men's Track, Samuel Patrick (Guelph, Ont.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings over the weekend.

Olivia Julien - (Toronto, Ont.)

Outside hitter Olivia Julien put together an impactful two-match weekend as the Marauders earned a pair of road victories over Waterloo, winning 3–1 on Friday before edging out a five-set battle on Saturday, 3–2.

Julien was steady on Friday night, finishing with 11 kills on 31 attempts while adding 10 digs and a service ace to help McMaster control the match in four sets. She elevated her performance in Saturday's marathon, leading all players with 18 kills on a .271 hitting percentage across five sets. Julien also applied pressure from the service line with four aces and contributed 13 digs on defense.

Across the weekend, Julien totaled 29 kills, 23 digs, and five aces, playing a key role on both sides of the ball as the Marauders completed the sweep.

Samuel Patrick - (Guelph, Ont.)

Samuel Patrick delivered a standout performance in the men's 3000m open at the Lancer Can Am Classic this weekend, racing to victory in a deep and competitive field. Patrick crossed the line first overall with a time of 8:19.20, winning Heat 3 and leading a strong McMaster showing that saw the Marauders sweep the top six positions.

Running with control and confidence, Patrick positioned himself well through the early laps before asserting himself over the closing stages to separate from the field. His winning time edged teammate Iain Thomson (8:22.11) and Austin McGoey (8:23.04), highlighting both his finishing strength and tactical execution. Patrick's performance marked a major highlight of the weekend and set the tone for an impressive team effort in Windsor.
