Women's Rugby - Verena Marsig (Stouffville, Ont.)
Verena Marsig (Stouffville, Ont.) was a force in McMaster's 36–0 win over Laurier on September 13. The second-year powered through with strong carries, consistent support play, and dominance in the contact zone. Marsig capped off her performance, adding a well-earned try to McMaster's score and helping the Marauders secure a decisive home opener victory.
Men's Soccer - Ethan Cagalj (Stoney Creek, Ont.)

Ethan Cagalj (Stoney Creek, Ont.) was outstanding in net across McMaster's two weekend wins. He recorded a shutout in the 2–0 victory over Western and finished the weekend with 10 saves and a 93% save percentage. Cagalj came up clutch with a penalty save at 1–1 against Guelph, keeping the Marauders level before they pulled ahead for their first road win over the Gryphons since 2017. His clean sheet against Western marked the 17th of his McMaster career.
