Women's Soccer
September 5 - L: 0-1 vs York
The McMaster Marauders (0-1-1) took on the York Lions (1-1-2) in their home opener Friday night at Ron Joyce Stadium. McMaster generated early chances, with
Jade Abreo (Mississauga, Ont.) attempting a shot which hit the crossbar. York struck early in the first half to take the lead, which they then held going into halftime. The Marauders pushed in the second, with
Molly Palladino (Mississauga, Ont.) and
Olivia Blair (Mississauga, Ont.) testing the Lions' back line, but they were unable to find the opportunity to score. The Marauders fell short of the win, finishing the game 0-1.
September 7 - T: 2-2 @ York
The McMaster Marauders earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against the York Lions on Sunday at York Lions Stadium.
Emma Fluit (London, Ont.) levelled the match before halftime, finishing off a setup from
Shalagh Guha (Waterloo, Ont.). With time winding down and York ahead, Mia Palement (Hamilton, Ont.) found the equalizer in the final minutes to help McMaster claim a valuable road point.
Men's Soccer
September 5- L: 0-3 vs York
The McMaster Marauders (0-1-0) generated several scoring chances but came up short in a 0-3 loss to the York Lions (2-1-0) on Friday night at Ron Joyce Stadium.
Karl Espiro (Burlington, Ont.) forced an early save from the York goalkeeper, while
Ethan Cagalj (Stoney Creek, Ont.) made key stops to keep McMaster in the match. York scored all three goals in the first half and held the lead the rest of the way.
September 7 - T: 1-1@ York
The McMaster Marauders battled the York Lions to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon at York Lions Stadium. McMaster pressed early with seven first-half attempts but couldn't find the back of the net.
Montther Mohsen (Ottawa, Ont.) opened the scoring late in the match, finishing a setup from
Mohamed Alshakman (Hamilton, Ont.), but York responded minutes later to earn the tie.

On Saturday, the Marauders faced the U SPORTS No. 2 ranked Guelph Gryphons.
Chayse Palfi (Keswick, Ont.) put McMaster on the score board, providing the Marauders with 3 PG's.
Men's Rugby
September 6- L: 12-45 vs Laurier
McMaster Men's Rugby played their home opener at Ron Joyce Stadium on Saturday evening.
Pierce Smith (London, Ont.), and
Zion Davidson both scored tries for the Marauders and
Ryan Bevington (Oakville, Ont.) would add one conversion kick. The Marauders would fall to the Golden Hawks 45-12. McMaster will next face York on Sept 13th.

McMaster Rowing opened their fall season with a strong showing at the Muskoka Classic, earning multiple podium finishes across events.
