KINGSTON, Ont. — This weekend, the McMaster women's fencing team competed in the OUA Championship hosted by Queen's. The top individual finisher was Olivia Zhang, who finished 5th in the women's foil. McMaster would go on to flourish in the team events earning a silver in the women's team foil with a team consisting of Kiara Ting (Coquitlam, B.C.), Aurora Boone (Peterborough, Ont.), Hannah Bryan (Peterborough, Ont.) and Olivia Zhang.

The women would also finish within the top five in the team saber and epee events. Overall, the Marauders finished just off the podium in fourth, behind host Queen's by six points. 

With this year's OUA women's fencing season now officially over, the Marauders will turn their attention to preparations for next year.
