McMahan added another triple, and Francis chipped in with consistent scoring and defensive effort. The Marauders fought until the final buzzer, showing composure and grit despite the defeat.

November 1 - L: 75-81 vs Brock | Box Score

The McMaster Marauders battled hard against the Brock Badgers but ultimately fell 81–75 in a fast-paced matchup that saw strong two-way performances across the board.
McMaster came out sharp, with Tyler Garcia (Mississauga, Ont.) setting the tone early, scoring seven points within the first five minutes. Riley Bleich (Fonthill, Ont.) made his presence felt defensively with a big block and a steal, while No. 13 capitalized with a layup to give the Marauders the lead. Jack McMahan (Burlington, Ont.) added a clutch three as the shot clock expired, and Garcia continued his hot streak with back-to-back buckets to keep things even at 17–17 by the end of the first quarter.

The Marauders kept up the pace in the second. Jeremiah Francis (Surrey, B.C.) answered Brock with a three to tie things up, and Ares Culley-Bremner's (Hamilton, Ont.) layup gave McMaster a slim edge. Strong drives from Garcia and lockdown defence from  Culley-Bremner helped maintain control, even as the Badgers pushed back. Francis hit another key three late in the quarter, sending the Marauders into halftime up 37–36.

Coming out of the break, McMaster kept their rhythm. Culley-Bremner opened the quarter with a jumper and continued to be a force on both ends. Garcia hit a three and followed with a layup to swing momentum back in McMaster's favour, while the defence forced multiple shot clock violations. A late steal by Garcia and an interception from Francis helped the Marauders stay within striking distance at 64–56 heading into the final frame.

In the fourth, McMaster fought to close the gap. Francis hit a series of clutch threes to tie the game at 67–67, and Bleich added another from deep to keep the Marauders close. Culley-Bremner continued to anchor the defence with several big blocks, but despite a late push from McMahan and Culley-Bremner from beyond the three-point line, the Badgers held on in the final minutes.
It was a gritty performance from the Marauders, led by strong efforts from Garcia, Culley-Bremner, and Francis, who all made key plays throughout the night, but Brock managed to edge them out down the stretch for the 81–75 win.

McMaster came out strong in the opening frame, with Emily Frankovic (Thornhill, Ont.) immediately making an impact, hitting early jumpers to keep the Marauders close. Sophia Urosevic (Kitchener, Ont.) contributed with smooth mid-range shots, while Teja McCormick (Toronto, Ont.) and Grace Ammendolia (Hamilton, Ont.) played key roles on both ends, converting crucial free throws and securing rebounds. Despite these efforts, York managed to maintain a slight edge through efficient scoring.

McCormick and Urosevic combined for consistent scoring, keeping McMaster within striking distance. The Marauders' consistent effort prevented York from pulling away, taking the lead into halftime.

McMaster displayed resilience, with Denkers hitting a crucial jumper to tie the game at 60 and McCormick adding points from the free-throw line. Frankovic continued to fight, contributing on both offense and defense, including a key block late in the game. Emily Frankovic (Thornhill, Ont.) and A'mya Rawlins-Thomas (Ajax, Ont.) kept the momentum going with clutch plays on both ends, including a huge block from Rawlins-Thomas to help McMaster close the first quarter up 20–17.

In the second, McCormick got the Marauders rolling with a jumper, and Sophia Urosevic (Kitchener, Ont.)  drained a three to extend the lead. McMaster's defensive pressure forced Brock into a timeout, but the Badgers found a late surge to sneak ahead 40–38 at halftime.

The Marauders stayed composed in the third. Scott hit a tough buzzer-beater, and Frankovic tied the game at 48–48 with strong inside play. Ashley Guerriero (Newmarket, Ont.) followed up with a go-ahead bucket, and tight defensive work from Urosevic kept McMaster within striking distance heading into the final quarter down just 55–53.

In the fourth, the Marauders fought hard to erase the deficit. A big steal from McCormick set up Urosevic to tie the game at 61–61, and she followed it up with back-to-back baskets to put McMaster ahead. Despite a late three-pointer from Brock to force overtime, the Marauders refused to back down.

In extra time, McMaster took control. Frankovic scored on an assist from Guerriero to give the Marauders the lead, then Scott came up with a crucial steal, and Guerriero converted the play to extend the lead. Another steal from Guerriero led to a bucket from Scott to seal the deal, as McMaster closed out the 75–69 victory.
