TORONTO, Ont. — On Saturday, McMaster traveled to the University of Toronto Open for the fourth tournament of the season.

The Marauders finished third overall with a total of 45 points. 

In the men's matches Blayne Helou (Pickering, Ont.) picked up first place in the men's 65 kg weight class. Eric Iatan (Oakville, Ont.) landed just off the podium, placing fourth in the men's 82 kg weight class. 

The Marauder women put on a show in Toronto with four athletes securing a podium finish. Serena Di Benedetto (Hamilton, Ont.) placed first in the women's 56 kg weight class. Joining Di Benedetto atop the podium as well was Olivia Lichti (New Hamburg, Ont.) who took home gold in the 59 kg weight class.

Macy Malysiak (Brampton, Ont.) also took home a medal, finishing third in the women's 65 kg weight class. After a hard fought final, Tehani Blais (Winnipeg, Man.) would take home silver in the women's 68 kg category. The women would finish second overall with 32 points.
