HAMILTON, Ont. — The Marauders are set to compete at the 2025 U SPORTS Championship from February 28th-March 1st in St. Catherines, Ont. The U SPORTS championships will be hosted by the 2025 OUA team gold medalists, the Brock Badgers. 

McMaster placed third in the overall team category at the OUA Championships along with grabbing nine other individual medals. 

OUA Individual Medalists:

GOLD: Serena Di Benedetto, Women's 53kg

GOLD: Olivia Lichti, Women's 59kg

GOLD: Megann Nkenglack, Women's 76kg

SILVER: Vanesse Fonrose, Women's 83kg

SILVER: Irman Kang, Men's 90kg

SILVER: Luken Lawson, Men's 76kg

SILVER: Blanye Helou, Men's 61kg

BRONZE: Macy Malysiak, Women's 62kg

BRONZE: Armaan Jawandha, Men's 72kg

Heading into the championships, the Marauder men are ranked 7th nationally and the women sit in 3rd. Last year at U SPORTS, the Marauders took the team bronze in the men's and fifth in the women's category.
