Luken Lawson (Enfield, N.S.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings over the weekend.
Women's Basketball - Tayler Scott (Burlington, Ont.)
McMaster rookie
Tayler Scott impressed in her first weekend of OUA action, showing poise and versatility well beyond her years. In Friday's game against York, Scott tallied 13 points, 8 rebounds, and a block in just 20 minutes. She followed that performance with a dominant showing against Brock, recording 16 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and another block in 31 minutes. Averaging 14.5 points and 10 rebounds across the weekend, Scott made an immediate impact on both ends of the floor. Her energy, rebounding, and scoring touch have quickly established her as a key contributor for the Marauders early in her debut season.
Men's Wrestling - Luken Lawson (Enfield, N.S.)

Luken Lawson earned a third-place finish at the 2025 McMaster Invitational, putting together a dominant performance on home turf. Lawson opened the day with back-to-back technical fall (TF) victories, defeating Wesam Sa`Ed (York) 11-0 and Eduardo Olaya (LLW) 11-0. After falling to Lukas Geske (Western) 13-3, Lawson bounced back in the consolation rounds, defeating David Jr. Hurst (Guelph) 10-0 and Jordan Osborn (Waterloo) 14-4 to secure third place. With four technical fall wins in five matches, Lawson showed his offensive power and consistency throughout the event, adding an early-season podium finish for the Marauders as they continue to build momentum toward the OUA Championships.
