As a member of the West Division in 2021, the Lancers will make their first trip to Ron Joyce Stadium since August 31, 2019, a contest the Marauders won 5-1. McMaster swept the series in 2019, securing a 2-0 victory in Windsor in October. The Marauders have not lost to the Lancers since 2016 and will look to continue the recent unbeaten streak against the blue and gold this weekend.
Despite falling to the Gryphons on Friday, the Marauders rebounded with an impressive 1-0 performance on home turf last Sunday from a late 82nd minute goal from
Emilie Calabrese (Ancaster, Ont.). This weekend, the maroon and grey will look to stay in the win column.
Windsor (2-1-1) is coming off a home-and-home series against the Brock Badgers. The Lancers took both games by an identical 1-0 scoreline.
Last Time Out
Offensively for the Marauders, Calabrese and
Megan Mamela (Brantford, Ont.) accounted for 80% of McMaster's shots on goal in the second game of last weekend's series. Currently, Calabrese and
Bryanna Caldwell (Tottenham, Ont.) are the loan goal scorers for the Marauders but, this weekend, Mamela will look to add her name to the list. In goal,
Alexandra Mudie (Burlington, Ont.) finished the game with an amazing 12 saves and the shutout to earn the win.
