Shalagh Guha capped off a sensational first season by earning two national honors — being named the U SPORTS Rookie of the Year and earning a spot on the U SPORTS All-Rookie Team.
After an impressive debut campaign that also saw her claim OUA First Team All-Star and OUA Rookie of the Year recognition, Guha established herself as one of the country's most promising young defenders. Starting all 12 games, she combined composure and versatility with a strong two-way presence, contributing 3 goals and 4 assists for 7 total points. Beyond her stats, Guha anchored McMaster's back line, showing maturity beyond her years and a knack for stepping up in big moments. Balancing her excellence on the pitch with her demanding IBIOMED studies, Guha's leadership, technical quality, and poise have made her a standout in her first season — and a name to watch in U SPORTS women's soccer for years to come.
