HAMILTON, Ont. – After adding 2 more wins to tally, the Marauders prepare to take on the TMU Bold on Friday in Toronto, and then continue on to St. Catharines to take on the Brock Badgers on Sunday.

This is the first of two matches against the TMU Bold, with the second match happening in February. The Marauders Bold last battled during the 2019-20 regular season, where TMU took the win, 3 sets to 2 (25-23, 12-25, 25-19, 21-25, 9-15). TMU is currently 1-2 after losing back-to-back games against Western (1-3, 0-3) in the opening weekend of the OUA regular season, but winning 3-1 against the Toronto Varsity Blues this past Saturday (25-20, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20). The Marauders are fresh off of back-to-back wins after winning 3-2 against the Western Mustangs (25-20, 25-18, 14-25, 27-29, 15-12) on Friday, and beating the York Lions 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-18) this past Sunday. With a four game winning streak, the Marauder women are looking confident heading into this weekend.

After hitting the road to take on the TMU Bold, the Marauders then travel to St. Catharines to battle the Brock Badgers.

The Badgers and Marauders battled twice during regular play last season, with the Marauders falling 1-3 and 0-3 against the Badgers. Both teams are coming off of back-to-back wins. Brock had a strong opening weekend beating the Guelph Gryphons 3-0 on Saturday (25-20, 25-17, 25-19) and 3-0 on Sunday (25-20, 25-12, 25-17). After another strong performance this past weekend, the Marauders are looking confident for next weekend's matches. McMaster posted 103 kills, 101 assists, and 7 service aces, The Marauder women also recorded 167 digs and 19 total blocks earning them 125.0 points this past weekend. Brock and McMaster are scheduled to battle again in regular season play in January.
