Zoe MacKintosh led the defensive effort for McMaster with 14 digs on the night. Holding the setting spot throughout the evening, Michelle Chelladurai notched 28 assists over the course of the three-set match.
Marauders head coach Tim Louks elected to allow many of his seniors rest before embarking on their playoff run. As a result, several rookies and sophomores got the opportunity to see competitive minutes Saturday.
With the first seed in the OUA West locked up, the Marauders now await the fourth seed in the OUA East in a quarterfinal to be played at the Burridge Gym on Saturday, March 4.
