Box Score Matching their performance of a week earlier, the Marauders dealt the Lancers yet another sweep (25-22, 25-19, 25-21), this time on the road in Windsor Saturday.
With the result, McMaster moved to 10-0 in conference play, retaining their stranglehold on the top spot in the OUA West division. Windsor, meanwhile, suffered their second consecutive loss and dropped to 1-8 on the season.
The U Sports no. 2-ranked Marauders were paced by the veteran combo of Danny Demyanenko and Brandon Koppers offensively, who each ended the afternoon with totals of 14.5 points.
Demyanenko led Mac with nine kills, hitting .500 with two errors on 14 attempts, while adding an ace, three solo blocks and three block assists.
By comparison, Koppers shone from the service line, with five aces versus just a single service error, to go along with eight kills, a solo block and a block assist.
On the other side of the net, Pierce Johnson led the way for the Lancers, with nine kills, an ace and two solo blocks for 12 points.
Mac continues their three-match road swing next weekend with a visit to Toronto on Saturday, February 4 to take on the Varsity Blues.
