GAME NOTES |
After getting a 40-10 win over Carleton for Greg Knox in his first game as McMaster Head Coach, the Marauders move their focus toward the Toronto Varsity Blues, who will provide the opposition on Labour Day.
The game is part of
WeatherTech Football Day in Hamilton and will be played at Tim Horton's Field, with kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m.
McMaster students can get tickets to the game for FREE by logging on to

Tickets to the game are $20 for regular fans and available through

The Marauders did a fine job of defending home field versus the highly-touted Ravens, but Monday's tilt with the Varsity Blues will be at a neutral site and on a bigger stage than usual.
McMaster displayed its big play ability on offence, with Asher Hastings throwing for over 300 yards and four touchdowns, but the Marauder defence also made a statement by limiting Carleton to just 10 points, while registering five sacks and two interceptions.
Toronto will need to get off the mark quicker than it did at Guelph as it trailed 36-1 at halftime. The Varsity Blues did finish the game well, scoring 21 points in the 4th quarter, so they may bring some momentum into the clash with McMaster.
Following the game, fans will be treated to a free concert presented by
SUPERCRAWL, with performances by chart-topping artist Tim Hicks, Hamilton native Terra Lightfoot, and McMaster's own
Of Gentlemen and Cowards.
The day will wrap up with the annual Labour Classic between the hometown Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Toronto Argos at 6:30 p.m. which is SOLD OUT.
