Box Score The McMaster men's volleyball team hosted the York Lions for an OUA clash in Hamilton on Saturday night, and  defeated the visitors 3-0 by set scores of: 25-15, 25-20, and 25-18.

The win is the third straight for the Marauders to start the OUA schedule.   McMaster entered the match with York, ranked No. 3 in the U Sports National top-ten.

McMaster got a very strong effort from outside hitter Jayson McCarthy, who was almost unstoppable with  15 kills in 20 attempts for a stellar hitting percentage of .750 and 15 total points.

Mac setter Andrew Richards spread the ball around deftly on offense, and Marauders Brandon Koppers (11.5), Danny Demyanenko (8.5) and Matt Passalent (6.0) were all threats that York had no answer for.    Along with his setting, Richards also led McMaster with 8 digs, showing his defensive skills.

The Marauders next Match will be on Friday, November 18th when they will face the Brock Badgers in the Burridge Gym.
