Box Score Despite a momentary lapse in the fourth set, the Marauders closed out their Kingston road trip – and their 2015 schedule – on a winning note Saturday. McMaster topped the RMC Paladins 3-1 (25-15, 25-15, 18-25, 25-15) to extend their OUA winning streak to seven matches.
With the result, the Marauders improved to 8-1 atop the OUA West division, and will be assured of retaining that position through the holiday break. RMC, meanwhile, fell to 1-9 at the bottom of the OUA East standings.
Pacing the Marauders in the win, Taylor Brisebois had a game high of 16.5 points, hitting 50 per cent with 13 kills on 22 attempts versus two errors, while adding two aces and a block and a half. Mac's balanced offense featured three other players in double digits, as Joanna Jedrzejewska (13 kills), Lauren Mastroluisi (12 kills, 13 points) and Mira Krunic (10.5 points) all made sizable contributions.
McMaster will now break from OUA competition for the exam period and holiday break, before returning to action against the Brock Badgers at the Burridge Gym on January 15.
