Box Score A flurry of offence in the opening half proved to be decisive, as the Marauders dropped their third consecutive contest on Saturday. Alex Riganelli had the lone goal for McMaster, who fell 2-1 to Western in London.

All of the goals arrived within a 20-minute window on the afternoon, with Western's Lauren Winquist giving her taem the lead in the 21st minute, before Riganelli responded by preying on a loose back pass and poaching a goal five minutes later.

Unfortunately for the Marauders, the Mustangs had a response just before the arrival of the halftime break, as Tianna DeLuzio potted Western's second goal in the 42nd minute. That proved to be the winner, as Mac could not find an equalizer in the second half.

The Marauders will look to bounce back when they complete their weekend roadtrip in Windsor with a 1:00 p.m. match against the Lancers.
