MARAUDERS EDGE TOWARD PLAYOFFS WITH DRAW IN WINDSOR

The Marauders tested Lancer goalkeeper Krystin Lawrence eight times, and held the Windsor side to just four shots of their own, ultimately coming away with a point from a scoreless draw on Sunday.

Midfielder Sarah Fettah led McMaster (3-7-4) with four shots – three of those finding the net – and Brittany Duffey saved all four shots she faced between the Marauder posts.

The result moved the Marauders into the sixth and final playoff spot in the OUA West, level on points with the Brock Badgers but having conceded four fewer goals. Both teams have two games left to play, but McMaster's final weekend will find them in Sault Ste. Marie to battle the winless Algoma Thunderbirds, who have been outscored 150-5 this season.

The Badgers, meanwhile, face a trip to Waterloo this coming weekend, and will have to contend with the third-place Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday,
