NO. 4 GOLDEN HAWKS DEFEAT MARAUDERS IN WOMEN'S SOCCER ACTION

Waterloo, Ont. - The McMaster women's soccer team suffered just their second loss of the season to the No. 4 Laurier Golden Hawks by a score of 1-0.

The first half would remain scoreless as both teams were unable to find the back of the net. It would take until the 75th minute of the match to score the only goal of the game and it came from Laurier.

Rookie midfielder Shelby Fallis (Pickering, Ont.) would earn the game winning goal honours.

Marauder Tara Dawdy (Burlington, Ont.) was honoured as the MVP of the game and Emily Brown (Waterloo, Ont.) was named MVP for the Golden Hawks.

McMaster will look to get back on track as they take on the Brock Badgers at Ron Joyce Stadium on Saturday September 29.
