DAWDY SCORES HAT TRICK IN 3-0 WIN OVER BADGERS

St. Catharines, Ont. - The McMaster women's soccer team captured their fourth win of the season as they defeated the Brock Badgers on the road on Friday afternoon. Veteran Tara Dawdy (Burlington, Ont.) got the hat trick in the win.

Just before the end of the first half, Dawdy scored her first goal of the game at the 40th minute mark. She scored two more in the second half, one in the 51st and and another in the 77th minute to solidify the road victory for McMaster.

Dawdy is now tied for second in the OUA with five goals and leads the league in shots with 15.

Goalkeeper Jocelyn Wilkins (London, Ont.), coming off of an injury, made her debut for the season and recorded the shut out.. This marks four consecutive games that the Marauders have not given up a goal.

McMaster heads to Waterloo to take on an experienced Laurier Golden Hawks squad on Sunday at 1pm.
