MARAUDERS WIN FINAL REGULAR SEASON GAME OVER MUSTANGS

London, Ont. - The McMaster women's soccer team won their tenth and final game of the 2012 regular season on Sunday afternoon.

Visiting the Western Mustangs, the match would go scoreless for the full 90 minutes. It would take extra time for McMaster to solidify the much needed win, as midfielder Emma Mangialardi (Oakville, Ont.) scored her fourth goal of the season to win the game.

Goalkeeper Brittany Duffey (Markham, Ont.) would play the full game and earn the shut out.

The Marauders are currently tied for second in the OUA West with the Mustangs. Both teams have 32 points at the end of the regular season with records of 10-4-2.

In the tie breaker, McMaster officially finished third in the division, which will mean they host the UOIT Ridgebacks, sixth place finishers in the OUA West, on Wednesday afternoon at 3pm.

In two previous match ups with the Ridgebacks this season, the Marauders have won both contests, 3-0 and 1-0.
