The McMaster Marauders defeated the visiting Toronto Varsity Blues 8-3 on Wednesday night.  Carlos Cabrero went the distance on the mound for the win.

The game was called in the 8th innning because of rain.  

With the win the Marauders improved to 3-11 in confernece play.

McMaster is back in action on Saturday, October 1 when they travel to Guelph for a doubleheader against the Gryphons. Start times are 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm.
