For the first time since 2002, the McMaster football team will host an OUA semi-final on the university’s Hamilton campus. The Marauders clinched second-place in the OUA standings with Saturday’s 51-24 win over Ottawa, and will be at Ron Joyce Stadium on Saturday, November 5, 2011 for the semi-final with kick-off set for 4:30 p.m.

Season ticket holder seats will be on hold until November 2nd and information has been mailed.

Laurier at Queen’s
Windsor at Ottawa
The Marauders 2011 overall record of 7 wins and 1 loss tied for the best record in the OUA with Western, although the Mustangs have the top playoff seed by virtue of beating McMaster head to head. The Marauder record is also the best the team has posted under Coach Stef Ptaszek since he took over the program in 2006. This year's finish also marks the third consecutive season that the Marauders under Coach Ptaszek have won six regular season games and also advanced to an OUA semi-final game.
