His team sprung an upset to re-open the OUA season Friday, and no player made his presence felt more effectively in the win than veteran forward Connor Gilmore. His 22 points were a team high, accomplished on eight of 16 shooting from the field, two of five from three-point range and a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe.

Narrowly missing a double-double, Gilmore had eight rebounds to lead his team in that category as well, as McMaster knocked off the #9-ranked Laurier Golden Hawks 79-67 to move to 5-7 on the season.
