Konrad Bald made his final event as a Marauder count this past weekend, turning his dominance of the breaststroke into medals at the CIS Championships in Victoria, B.C. Two weeks after collecting five medals at the OUA Championships, Bald won gold and silver at the national event. His 50m time of 28.46 was good enough for not only a CIS gold, but a long-course record at the Championships as well. Just as he had in Toronto two weeks prior, Bald added silver at the 100m distance to close his varsity career as a national double-medallist.
