In just her second year as a Marauder, Brydges emerged as one of the most dangerous attackers at the OUA Water Polo Championships, hosted by McMaster from Friday to Sunday. She led Mac, and the game, with four goals in the team's 13-11 semifinal win over Ottawa on Friday, potting three in a dominant first quarter that set the Marauders apart with a 6-2 lead.
Brydges followed with a four-goal performance in the OUA final, providing two thirds of Mac's offence in a losing effort against the top-ranked Toronto Varsity Blues, as the Marauders fell 11-6 and took home conference silver in their home pool.
