Saving one of her most efficient offensive performances of the year for the first step of McMaster’s journey into the postseason, Aleks Arsovic excelled in the Marauders quarter final sweep of the York Lions Saturday.

 

Arsovic had a match high 13 kills against just three errors in the win, hitting .333 and adding a block assist for a match high of 13.3 points, as McMaster downed York 25-16, 25-21, 25-20 to advance to the OUA Final Four for a third consecutive season.

 

The defending conference champions meet the Toronto Varsity Blues in an 8:00 p.m. semi final encounter at Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre on Friday, March 9.

 

Following her exceptional playoff showing, Arsovic was named as an OUA First Team All-Star Monday, making her first appearance on the conference’s all-star rolls.
