In the absence of her fellow veteran leader, Hilary Hanaka (Hamilton, ON) put the Marauders on her back for a pair of lopsided weekend wins at Burridge Gym.

The fourth-year guard averaged over 30 points for the weekend, as McMaster improved to 5-2 with an 80-52 win over Laurentian on Friday and a 71-42 victory over the Nipissing Lakers a night later.

Hanaka notched 34 points against the Voyageurs, making 12 of 22 attempts from the field and four of 10 from three-point range, with a perfect six of six from the free throw line to go along with three rebounds.

On Saturday, the Geography major added 29 more points, making 10 of 18 from the field including five threes, while adding seven assists and seven boards.
