One of the leaders of an outstanding team performance from the Marauders women at the DeBray Divisional Championships in Guelph, which saw McMaster top the team standings by a 303-point margin, Schlyter won a pair of gold medals and another pair of silvers individually over the course of the two-day meet.
She topped the field in both the 400m freestyle and 400m individual medley events, and accomplished a new short-course personal best of 4:59.48 in the latter, while winning silver in the 200m variants of both discipline.
Adding her strength to the McMaster freestyle relay squads, Schlyter combined with Sarah Little, Isabelle Lei and Veronica Nichol to win gold in the 4x100m event, and won bronze in the 4x50m alongside Katherine Toy, Erin Anderson and Hiva Fazeli.
