McMaster’s offensive force on the outside, Joanna Jedrzejewska proved Friday that she is ready to bear the load for the Marauders once again in 2016-17. The fourth-year outside hitter led Mac, and the match, with 21.5 points, as the Marauders took down the Guelph Gryphons 3-1 to open the OUA season.

Jedrzejewska’s 31 attempts led her team, but the outside was efficient with her touches Friday, killing 18 of 37 attempts versus just two errors (.432), while adding three aces.
