Providing a match up nightmare for the Windsor Lancers, Steckle was given the ball early and often in the Marauders Friday quarterfinal, and ran with the opportunity.

The veteran power hitter killed 16 of 31 hitting attempts versus six errors (32 per cent), while adding an ace and a block and a half, as Mac swept Windsor to advance to the OUA Final Four in Toronto. Her 31 attempts led the team and the match, and stood as a mark of the confidence Steckle has earned from her team this season.
