HAMILTON, Ont. —  Fast Pitch, Torin Landucci (Vancouver, BC.) and women's soccer, Mea Martel (Ottawa, Ont.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings in their respective maroon jerseys.

Fast Pitch - Torin Landucci (Vancouver, BC.)

Torin was a driving force for the Marauders this past weekend, helping the team to a 3-1 record as they continue their playoff push. At the plate, she racked up 10 hits, including 6 singles, 3 doubles, and 1 triple, showcasing consistency and power in key moments. She tallied 9 RBIs and crossed the plate 4 times herself, providing both the spark and production needed to keep the Marauders rolling. She went 10-12 in 4 games with a batting average this weekend of .833.


Women's Soccer -  Mea Martel (Ottawa, Ont.)

Mea Martel (Ottawa, Ont.) delivered in the biggest moments to help the Marauders secure a weekend sweep over Laurier. On Friday night at Ron Joyce Stadium, Martel provided the heroics in stoppage time, calmly slotting home the game-winner to lift McMaster to a dramatic 2-1 victory. She carried that momentum into Sunday's road match in Waterloo, scoring the decisive goal just before halftime to restore McMaster's lead in another 2-1 win. With two game-winning strikes in as many matches, Martel showcased her poise and finishing ability, playing a pivotal role in the Marauders' back-to-back victories.
