Athletes to watch:

Third year, women's co-captain and Health Science student, Michelle Wang (Port Elgin, Ont.) holds the McMaster swimming record in the 4x50 IM relay and has only improved astronomically during her time at McMaster. Wang is looking forward to representing the Marauders at the OUA championships this year saying, "I'm so incredibly proud of all the hard work we've done and how far we've come together. We are more ready than ever to leave it all in the pool and make some McMaster magic!"

Second year Kinesiology major, Hayden Yeung (Hong Kong, China) placed third in the 50 breaststroke at OUAs in 2024. Yeung is a leader in practice in his strong work ethic and he pushes the other men to be the best they can be. Apart from his role in the pool, Yeung is also an incredible student, putting in loads of academic time as he switched programs from Soc Sci to Kinesiology and is also a Marauder Scholar. Yeung is feeling energized going into his second championship season. "Last year, the energy and excitement of my first championship was unreal. This year I'm coming in with even more experience and a sharper focus. I am focused, fired up, and ready to leave it all in the pool," says Yeung.
