Toronto, Ont. – On Wednesday evening, at the 2025 Men's Soccer U SPORTS Awards Ceremony, Amir Shirazi (Oakville, Ont.) received national honors. After a remarkable 2025 season, Shirazi has been named to the All-Canadian Second Team.

After earning OUA All-Star honours, Amir Shirazi (Oakville, Ont.) has been recognized at the national level as a U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian, following another outstanding season leading McMaster's attack. Starting all 12 games, the Marauders' striker was a constant offensive force — combining technical precision, pace, and finishing ability to drive McMaster's offense. Shirazi finished the season with 8 goals (9th in the U SPORTS), 1 assist, and 9 total points, while recording 22 shots and a .364 shooting percentage. Perfect from the penalty spot, converting 2-of-2 chances, Shirazi's movement and ability to create and finish opportunities made him one of the most dangerous forwards in the conference. This marks Shirazi's second consecutive All-Canadian selection, a testament to his consistency, leadership, and elite play at the national level.
