In McMaster's dominant season-opening weekend, outside hitter
Olivia Julien made an immediate impact in the Marauders' back-to-back sweeps over Lakehead. Julien led the attack with 22 kills on an efficient .391 hitting percentage across the two matches, adding 4 assists, 9 digs, and 3 total blocks. She posted 13 kills and 6 digs in Sunday's win after recording 9 kills and 3 blocks in the opener, showcasing her consistency and all-around play. Julien's strong start set the tone for McMaster's perfect opening weekend and highlighted her as a key offensive force for the Marauders.
Cross Country - Iain Thompson (Dundas, Ont.)
At the OUA Cross Country Championships, Iain Thompson delivered a standout performance to lead the Marauders to the team podium. Thompson finished 4th overall in the 8km race, clocking an impressive time of 23:40.1 with a blistering 2:57/km pace. His strong run set the tone for McMaster's third-place team finish, as they will head to the U SPORTS Championship on Saturday, November 8th in Sherbrooke, Que.
