WATERLOO, Ont. - The McMaster men's basketball team dropped a 64-51 decision to the Waterloo Warriors in the final road game of the regular season.
In a tough shooting contest, Eligaj Bethune led the Marauders with 11 points while also contributing two rebounds and two steals.
Nathan Charles and
AY Osunde finished the game with a combined 18 points. The Warriors were led by Josh Akuamoah who recorded 28 points off the bench.Â
The Marauders shot 28.8% from the field, including just four from outside the arc on 23 attempts. In a sloppy game, both teams totaled 17 turnovers but points off the bench proved to be the difference with Waterloo putting up 33 while holding McMaster to just 8.
