With the last meeting over a year back, the Marauders sought to rewrite the match, however, fell to the Ottawa Gee Gees 62-51.

 Opening the first half, the Marauders picked up the lead early off and guarded it for most of the first. With both the Marauders and the Gee Gees both hitting 31.3% from the field, it was the fouls and free throws that lifted the Gee Gees above the Hamilton group. By the end of the second quarter, the lead changed five times. The Marauders played solid defence and strong boards, with 14 rebounds, throughout the quarter. Ultimately, the Maroon were able to cut Ottawa's lead down to one before half - 27-28.

Watering the lead Ottawa found its way up by 14 in the third, and when heading into the final quarter the score read 38-52.

Notwithstanding the Marauders 9 threes, against the Gee Gees three, the Marauders couldn't find a breakthrough from their slippage. A three from
Amy Stinson capped the scoring and brought Ottawa to dribble out the remaining seconds. Ending as Marauders drop to the Gee Gees 62-51.

The Gee Gees took ground on the 2nd chance points with 19, while the Marauders only found two.

The Marauders will attempt to shake the shortfall as they move into an in-season break. Returning to action on January 6th, the Marauders will take on the York Lions.
