Box Score In the third game of the regular season, the McMaster Marauders men's basketball team came up short to the TMU Bold, 66-87.
 
Senior, Mike Demagus led all scorers with 23 points, topping 20 in every played game of the season. He was 9-17 from the field and hit four of his free throws. AY Osunde saw a decorated stats sheet locking in 11 points, six rebounds, 3 assist, three turnover and two steals.
 
Overall the Marauders posted a 38.2% from the field goal, and found an unlucky 3-Point percentage of 22.6, trumping them with 44.3% from the field and 38.7 from behind the arch were the Bold.
 
Starting off the game, The Bold began moving the ball with 5 different players pitching in to their 25 points in the first quarter, while Demagus held 11 of the Marauders 16 points in the first. The second quarter was filled with unlucky bounces for Mac with only 6/17 shots sinking.
 
Marauders were also to stunt the Bold in the third, with both teams knocking down 17 points, to head into the fourth quarter with a 51-63 game. Meanwhile the fourth quarter was a blowout for TMU, who built their largest lead of the game, with 26 points. The clock ran out and a final score of 66-87 stood, in favour of the TMU Bold.

The McMaster Marauders will play in their home opener against the Varsity Blues on Saturday at 8PM.
