HAMILTON - After a tough outing at the OUA West Regional Qualifier last season, the Marauders are looking to drop the competition and return to the OUA Championship for the first time since 2021. With sixteen games already in the books this year, McMaster is sure to contend for the OUA West Regional title.

Fourteen teams across four conferences - East, Central, West and Far West - comprise OUA baseball.
The McMaster Marauders, Guelph Gryphons and Brock Badgers are members of the West. McMaster and Guelph opened the 2023 season against each other back on September 9th. The Marauders and Gryphons battled in the first game of the doubleheader but it was Guelph who came out on top, narrowly escaping with a 5-4 victory. It was all Gryphons in the second contest who earned an 8-0 victory for the sweep. This weekend will be the first meeting between the Bafgers and Marauders this year.
McMaster will face Brock in the first game at 10am before matching up with the Gryphons in the final contest of Day 1 at 5pm. The semifinal and regional final are set for Saturday at 10:30am and 2pm, respectively. Only one team will be the Best of the West and book its ticket to the 2023 OUA Baseball Championship.
