HAMILTON, Ont. – Currently 10-6, the Marauders hit the road as they prepare to take on the Western Mustangs on Wednesday, and the Windsor Lancers on Saturday.

McMaster and Western are familiar foes, having battled twice during the 2021-22 regular season. In the first match-up, it was Western who took the victory, ending the game 74-93. McMaster came back with a vengeance in their second match-up. After an extremely tight game, it was Mike Demagus (Scarborough, Ont.) who scored with only 4 seconds left to end the game 78-77.
Western is coming off of back to back losses this past weekend, losing 83-92 to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, and then losing 79-90 to the TMU Bold. The Mustangs are currently 7-8 and after a three-game losing streak, Western is hungry for a win.
After traveling to London, the Marauder men then continue on the road, as they head to Windsor to face the Lancers this Saturday.
Windsor vs McMaster

The Lancers and the Marauders faced off twice last season. In a close fought game, it was Windsor who won 84-87 with a buzzer-beater shot in the last 2 seconds of the game. The Marauders returned with something to prove in the second game, beating the Lancers 92-68.
The Windsor Lancers are currently 11-7 and are coming off of back-to-back wins . In the first match, Winsor beat the TMU Bold 97-95 in a hard fought match that went into overtime. Windsor then took on University of Toronto, coming out on top in an 85-78 win.
The Marauders battled the Laurier Golden Hawks this past Friday in a tight game. Ultimately it was McMaster who came out on top, beating the Golden Hawks 77-72. Mike Demagus (Scarborough, Ont.) Â lead the team in points, coming out with 22, while AY Osunde (Scarborough, Ont.) Â found the bucket to put up 15 points.
McMaster looks to continue their winning momentum and add to their win streak this upcoming week.
